Dietary and allergen information on Edible comes from restaurant declarations, community reports, and menus published online. It may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. It is not medical advice and must not be relied on if you have a food allergy or intolerance. Always confirm allergen information directly with restaurant staff before ordering or eating. Edible accepts no liability for harm arising from reliance on information shown in the app.

The service

Edible helps people with dietary requirements discover restaurants, share dining experiences, and order from participating restaurants via QR menus. We provide the platform; restaurants are responsible for their food, menus, and allergen declarations.

Your content

You own what you post and grant Edible a licence to display it within the service. Don’t post content that is unlawful, misleading (including knowingly false allergen reports), or infringes others’ rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Community menu data

Some menu listings are sourced from community reports or from menus restaurants publish online, and are labelled as unverified. They are provided for discovery only.

Orders and payments

Orders placed through QR menus are contracts between you and the restaurant. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds are handled by the restaurant.

Liability

Edible is provided “as is” during this early-access period. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect loss and limit our total liability to the amount you paid us (currently nothing).
